"She's been at his bedside ever since she got there," says a source close to Moakler, 33. "She loves him and she's not going to leave him."
The source adds, "It has all been very intense. [Shanna] is very emotional but also very strong."
Moakler's two children with Barker – son Landon, 4, and daughter Alabama, 2 – are with their grandparents in California while she stays at Doctors Hospital.
As friends and family remain gathered, the source says of Barker, 32, "He is very, very lucky. To come out of this without one broken bone is a miracle."
