A very peeved David Letterman took Republican presidential candidate John McCain to task on his CBS Late Show Wednesday for McCain's last-minute cancellation as a guest.
The TV host discovered that McCain hadn't gone to Washington, D.C. (as he had given as his excuse), after all – but was instead across town, giving an interview to CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric – which prompted more comments from Letterman about McCain. (See the full monologue here.)
