Byron Allen, the host of talk shows Entertainers with Byron Allen and Comics Unleashed, and his wife, producer Jennifer Lucas, have welcomed their first child, the couple tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Daughter Chloe Ava Allen was born in Los Angeles on Aug. 22 at 2:15 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz., and was 20 inches long.
"We couldn't be happier," says Allen. "Our bundle of joy is simply amazing." Adds Lucas: "She's absolutely precious. I'm so in love with her. We are incredibly blessed."
The couple were married at the Bel Air Hotel in Los Angeles last September in front of 120 guests, including Natalie Cole and Eddie Murphy.
They announced they were expecting a girl in April. "Byron is going to be an amazing dad," Lucas said at the time. "He will be phenomenal.
