Biden is "the kind of guy you want to have a beer with," she told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Thursday. "I hope that part of his personality comes through."
As for her own guy, Obama, 44, talked about her husband's ceaseless energy and promise – and about the couple's courtship.
Asked how she and Barack met, Michelle said he simply told her, "We should go out. He had no special lines. Barack's not some line-giver."
Cuteness FactorHe did, however, "melt" her with a special treat on one of their first dates – chocolate ice cream – and ultimately won her over with "his overall personality," she said. "And he’s cute!"
In regard to the couple's kids, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, their mother told Seacrest that their lives will remain as normal as possible. Currently in the Obama household, "We're trying to figure out what they're going to be for Halloween,” she said.
And come November, "If [Barack] is in the White House or in our house, [the girls] are going to be the center of our universe. We're going to make sure they're protected and that they have some level of normalcy."
