"You have really great style," the rapper told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show Tuesday.
He then addressed the audience, advising them: "Seriously, this is one of the people you should look at when ever you're trying to figure out how to put together an outfit – especially for guys."
DeGeneres, wearing one of her usual menswear-inspired looks (a dark sweater, jeans and a button-down), laughed along as he insisted, "I would completely wear [that]."
On a more serious note, the two longtime pals also discussed West's late mother, Donda, who died late last year from heart disease following surgery.
"A lot of things changed ... with my mom passing," said Kanye, who showed a clip of his new video for "Love Lockdown." "She always wanted me to be the best that I could be and not get hung up on the small things."
DeGeneres – who met Donda on several occasions – added, "She was amazing ... She was just lovely."
