FIRST LISTEN: Jason Aldean Debuts 'She's Country'
Country singer Jason Aldean will perform his new single, "She's Country," for the first time at the Country Music Association Awards in Nashville on Wednesday – but he has given PEOPLE.com an exclusive first listen of the song.

Listen to the track here:

The tune celebrates "the kinda girls I grew up with in Macon, Ga.," says Aldean, who is nominated for the new artist of the year award at the CMAs. "But it is also about country girls everywhere. Believe me, country girls live in places like New York and L.A. and Chicago too. I've met them at our shows and know that they like to rock out as much as we do in the sticks."

The song is the first single from Aldean's yet-to-be titled new album, his third, which will be released next spring.

To check out Aldean's performance during the CMA Awards, tune in Wednesday at 8/7 central on ABC.
