Hilary Duff recently signed a development deal with NBC – and the singer-actress is looking forward to doing more than just acting.
"I get to call the shots," Duff, 21, said, joking with MTV News. "I would like to do something funny ... or I would like to kick ass or something."
According to Variety reports, as part of her deal Duff will meet with NBC writers to "comb through" projects in development to discover material she likes. She will also appear on some current NBC shows.
"I would love to do something on The Office," Duff tells MTV. "30 Rock is great – very funny. Many people have done lots of guest spots on it this season."
