When Mischa Barton and her Irish/English parents arrived in New York when she was a 5, they didn't have a clue about Thanksgiving.
"My parents didn't understand you have to cook a turkey," she tells Celebuzz.com
in a video blog. "But finally we're coming into our own with Thanksgiving. I have tons to be thankful for this year."
Barton, best known for playing Marissa Cooper on The O.C.
, says her family, including her two sisters, has the tradition down pat now and it's become an important family tradition. "It's actually one of my favorite holidays," she says.
Ditto for another young celeb, Brody Jenner, who says on his video blog
he looks forward each year to a "bomb-ass turkey."
