VIDEO: Britney Spears Brings 'Womanizer' to London
Britney Spears's comeback mini-tour swung into London Saturday when she appeared on the British TV show X Factor co-hosted by Simon Cowell.
She showcased "Womanizer," as she had in Germany two days earlier, but this time there was no Madonna-esque top hat, and she donned black hot pants and frilly-edged top. There were still the black, knee-high boots, which got a workout as she dashed around the studio.
After the performance, she said she was feeling "awesome" and pronounced herself happy to be in Britain. "The place is beautiful," she said. "I love being here in London."
The singer, whose London appearance followed TV shows in Germany and Paris, had spent the day in her hotel room at The Dorchester before leaving for the show.
It was Britney night on the Idol-like talent contest, and candidates had to sing her hits as well as other pop numbers. When she was asked about the hopefuls backstage, she said, "Good luck and keep doing it."
