Miranda Cosgrove is releasing a music video for her new song, "About You Now," and PEOPLE.com has an exclusive behind the scenes peek at the making of the clip.
In the video, Cosgrove, 15, is paired with famed telenovela star Diego González. The Nickelodeon star takes fans backstage at the shoot, directed by Bille Woodruff, where she describes why making the high energy video was so much fun.
"I got to have my real friends inside the music video since it's based in the mall," Cosgrove says. "I invited like six of my best friends and we got to hang out all day. So, that was a blast."
The song comes from Cosgrove's debut album, iCarly – Music from and Inspired by the Hit TV Show. The full video for "About You Now" will debut on Nickelodeon on Dec. 5 following the premiere of the TV movie Merry Christmas Drake & Josh.
