• Kim Kardashian, sharing a dance with Kanye West and then passing him off to her sister Khloe at West Hollywood's Apple Lounge. The reality star, who played hostess at a bash for Ubisoft Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party videogame, also got chatty with Jermaine Dupri and posed for pictures with the music mogul. Meanwhile, Kanye enjoyed champagne that was brought to his table with sparklers as – coincidentally? – his hit "Love Lockdown" played. The rapper brought along a big posse and enjoyed being the center of attention. He had so much fun, in fact, that he stayed put until the club closed.

• Later in the night, the Kardashian sisters hit up West Hollywood's Coco de Ville, where they held court in the center of the lounge. Meanwhile, Avril Lavigne skipped the alcohol while hanging at the hot spot, but stuck around the indoor patio smoking area with husband Deryck Whibley. The popster sported a loose, jersey shirt and opted for a quiet night out with her husband, taking off as soon as many clubgoers recognized her.

• Britney Spears, doing a little shopping at Kitson at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, Calif., where the singer picked up some toys and matching pajamas for her boys. Accompanied by manager Larry Rudolph, the pop star also grabbed some jeans for herself.

• Before his big art opening in Los Angeles, Pete Wentz mastered the turntables at the W Scottsdale in Arizona. He took over the corner cabana with a group of friends, sipping champagne before going to work. "Pete seemed pretty relaxed and in very good spirits," an onlooker tells us.

• Queen Latifah, catching Candis Cayne's live show at West Hollywood gay bar the Abbey with six friends. The actress sat in the "Elizabeth Taylor VIP section" for the performance, then moved to the back cabanas. The group also enjoyed some food: hot wings, sliders, mac and cheese, and tortilla soup, along with tequila. Several nights later, Dame Elizabeth Taylor put in a real appearance at the bar – one of her favorite haunts in L.A. – hanging out in a private, curtained-off area with some friends.
