American Idol star Gina Glocksen will marry longtime boyfriend Joe Ruzicka on New Year's Eve.
The singer, who was a top 10 finalist during Idol's sixth season, and Ruzicka, a school teacher, will tie the knot Wednesday in a non-denominational ceremony.
Glocksen's fellow season six contestants Haley Scarnato and Jordin Sparks are bridesmaids.
Glocksen, 24, and Ruzicka, 32, met in early 2005 when she auditioned to sing with his cover band. (She got the gig, of course!) He proposed on Aug. 7, 2007 in front of a live audience at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., where Glocksen and the other top 10 season six Idol contestants were performing.
Glocksen is currently recording an album in Nashville, which she hopes to release in mid-2009.
