Soccer hunk Cristiano Ronaldo totaled his Ferrari on Thursday morning after crashing into a roadside barrier inside a tunnel near Manchester Airport.
The Manchester United star, who is originally from Portugal, was not injured and his breathalyzer test came up negative, reports the BBC
Ronaldo's teammate Edwin van der Sar, in a Bentley, had been following the Ferrari – but was not involved in the smashup, in which Ronaldo, 23, lost one of his wheels.
A spokesman for Manchester United said, "He was involved in an incident this morning. No other cars were involved. He's fine and is training as normal with the team this morning."
