Kevin Costner Briefly Hospitalized

Kevin Costner was hospitalized overnight Tuesday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, but was released the following day after tests showed nothing was amiss, his rep tells PEOPLE.

"Kevin was driving in the Hollywood area Tuesday morning when he began to feel lightheaded," says his spokesman Arnold Robinson. "He called 911 and they kept him overnight in the hospital."

Robinson says tests revealed that everything was normal and the actor, 53, was released Wednesday morning.

"He's feeling fine and is back on his feet," Robinson said.
