Sporting a Giorgio Armani Privé royal blue silk gazar gown with a hand-pleated bustier on the Golden Globes red carpet Sunday, Anne Hathaway told PEOPLE that when it came to her look, "My stylist amassed a few options, and this was the one I liked the best. It's corseted in the right places."
And with 2009 still fresh, the Brides War star – who was Globe-nominated for the drama Rachel Getting Married said, "My New Year's resolution was to do something new every day.
"Eleven days into it, I tried Scotch for the first time, I won a Critics' Choice Award and on [The Jimmy Kimmel Show] I put out a birthday cake with a fire extinguisher."
She added, cautiously, "I'm leaving out a few other ones I prefer PEOPLE magazine not know about!"
