Kate Winslet vows to write an acceptance speech for the upcoming BAFTA movie awards, so she's better prepared than she was at the Golden Globes.

Winslet, 33, gave a pair of lengthy, tearful acceptance speeches at the Golden Globes after she walked off with awards for her roles in Revolutionary Road and The Reader. She has now been nominated for leading actress awards at the Orange British Academy Film Awards, the British equivalent of the Oscars, for the same movies.

Speaking on the red carpet Sunday at the London premiere of Revolutionary Road, Winslet explained to reporters that she had been shocked and overwhelmed by her dual Globes win. "Clearly," she said, "I should prepare a speech because I didn't think that was going to happen at the Golden Globes."

Wearing a black Narciso Rodriguez dress, Chopard jewelry and Roger Vivier heels, Winslet said, "I just did not expect to win both of those [Globes] and I've never won before so you can't imagine how overwhelming that moment is."

Winslet still has a couple weeks to work on her speech: the BAFTAs will be held on Feb. 8.
