Dexter Newlyweds Spend a Night Out on the Town
They may play brother and sister in their day jobs, but by night, Dexter actor Michael C. Hall and new wife and costar Jennifer Carpenter are finally acting out some non-sibling PDAs.

The couple, who eloped on New Year's Eve, enjoyed an intimate dinner at Hollywood's Pace restaurant with two friends Wednesday night.

"They were very intimate, but never over-the-top-affectionate," one observer says of the quiet dinner. "He had his arm around her at all times and you could see the light golden band on her wedding finger even in the candlelight."

Since their under-the-radar wedding in Big Sur, Calif., the couple have been begun making the public rounds, starting with a dazzling red carpet appearance at the Golden Globes last week.

"They were very casual and relaxed and enjoyed the warmth of the place," says the restaurant observer. "Michael left with a wonderful grin on his face."

The couple have played it low-key since they began dating while filming the Showtime serial-killer drama, in which Hall plays a cop burdened with homicidal tendencies and Carpenter portrays his badge-wielding sister.
