Sienna Miller is ready for Broadway – and will make her debut this fall, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
The actress, 27, is set to play Miss Julie, one of only three roles in After Miss Julie, which will be staged beginning in September at the Roundabout Theatre's American Airlines Theatre on New York's famed 42nd Street.
It will be something of a homecoming for Miller, who was born in the city and, though she grew up in England, returned to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Manhattan.
Showbusiness columnist Baz Bamigboye broke the news in the Daily
Mail Friday, writing that the "sexually provocative" role "gives her a fantastic opportunity to show everyone what I know she's capable of at her best."
Although she has proven herself in films, including Interview, Casanova with Heath Ledger and Factory Girl, she's made headlines recently for her relationship with Balthazar Getty.
