Mother Sees Her Octuplets for First Time
The mother of newborn octuplets was taken by wheelchair to the neonatal intensive care unit and saw her babies for the first time.

She wasn't allowed yet to hold the day-old infants Tuesday night, but sources at Kaiser Permanente's Bellflower, Calif., hospital say the mother watched her eight babies sleeping in their incubators.

The infants, six boys and two girls ranging from 1 lb., 8 oz., to 3 lbs., 4 oz, continue to grow stronger and are "all doing fine," the hospital says in a statement.

"Of the eight babies, five are being fed donated breast milk," the hospital says. "Mom will also start pumping milk to save up for her babies."
