Nadya Suleman left Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center on Thursday, 10 days after giving birth to octuplets.

"She left early this morning," said Kaiser spokesman Jim Anderson. "She left quietly and privately."

It was unclear if she had returned to the Whittier home where Suleman, 33, has six other children. All 14 have been conceived through in vitro fertilization, although it's unclear if they're all by the same sperm donor.

The octuplets – six boys and two girls, the smallest of whom were born at only 1 1/2 pounds – will remain in the hospitals neonatal intensive care unit for several more weeks, Anderson says.
