>• Bassist Pete Wentz (left) and lead singer Patrick Stump (front) chatted with us about FOB's new CD, Folie á Deux, and new tour.

ON RECESSION-PROOFING THE TOUR "We're trying to maintain a low ticket price," says Stump, 24. "It amounts to how much pyro we use. We shoot for a max of, like, 30 bucks."

ON FOLIE GUEST VOCALIST LIL WAYNE "I just called him and was like, 'Would you do this?'" says Wentz, 29, "and he said, 'Yeah, I'll do it tonight.'"

ON HAVING A NEW DAD IN THE BAND "[Fatherhood has] affected my work in that I feel more responsible toward it," says Wentz, who has a 12-week-old son, Bronx, with wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. "That's the best way to smash selfishness."

ON MEETING PRESIDENT OBAMA "We were about to go on [at the Youth Inaugural Ball]," says Stump, "and someone goes, 'You guys have to be on the other side of the building in two minutes to meet the President.' We took off running. But I don't think he was really familiar with our music."
