Twelve pathetic examples of young American womanhood—proud, partying maniacs—are sent to Britain to be turned into prim, proper ladies. One of them is awarded $100,000 at the end, which I suppose will be a sweet drop of redemption. The premiere is mostly just sad, as the girls are berated and shamed by their tutors, including former Miss USA Tara Conner and a woman who looks like a shorter Camilla Parker Bowles.
