How does an award-winning actress celebrate? At PEOPLE and the Entertainment Industry Foundation's gala for the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, Meryl Streep had no Doubt as she boogied to "I'm a Believer." Granted the band playing the red-tented backlot of the Shrine Exposition Center was hard to resist: The Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp All Stars included Micky Dolenz of the Monkees and Elliot Easton of the Cars.

Those not dancing tried to figure out where to stow their awards. "It's frickin' heavy!" said Mad Men's January Jones. Desperate Housewives' Marcia Cross nibbled on a doughnut from a buffet that included chef Wolfgang Puck's macaroni and cheese and chicken pot pies, and Diane Lane got a touch-up at the L'Oréal Paris lounge while husband Josh Brolin waited patiently. America Ferrera giggled with Christina Applegate, and new parents Amy Poehler and Will Arnett hugged throughout the night. Some partygoers, like comeback king Mickey Rourke, were happy to sit back and enjoy the scene. "I'm just glad to be invited back to the dance," he said.
