Picks and Pans Review: Pooch Patrol: Hotel's Top Dogs

• With more than 70 pooches running wild on-set, the Hotel for Dogs shoot had lots of ruff moments.

"It was a little chaotic," says head trainer Mark Forbes of the Hotel for Dogs set, where more than 40 trainers were needed to wrangle the film's 70-plus four-legged stars. Two Jack Russell terriers played lead dog Friday, while Forbes used rescue dogs to portray many of the film's featured canines. "There's not much difference in terms of trainability," he says. "It just makes the trainer feel warm and fuzzy to work with a rescue.
