Caught in the Act!

• Ed Westwick and Gossip Girl costar Jessica Szohr, taking their romance from the Upper East Side to the Left Coast: The two hung out poolside at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel – and they were "all over each other," an onlooker tells us of their all-day PDA. By 10 p.m. the couple were still outdoors, cozying up on a lounge chair.

• Jennifer Garner, taking 3-year-old daughter Violet for an after-school treat at Pinkberry in Santa Monica. The two shared an "original" with chocolate chips, and Violet was putting big spoonfuls of the frozen treat into her mouth while her mother told her – nicely! – to slow down.

• Hilary Duff, changing her hair color – she darkened up her locks – during a visit to the Byron and Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills, where she smiled and chatted with fellow customers.

• Claire Danes, hiking Runyon Canyon in Hollywood. The engaged actress – who wore her hair pulled back in a low ponytail and a dark sweatshirt tied around her waist – looked unruffled while tackling the steep, winding trails.

• Rose McGowan, holding court with writer-director fiancé Robert Rodriguez in the bell tower of the downstairs lounge at H.wood in L.A. The couple hung out, chatted with friends and acted "very sweet" with each other, an onlooker says. Meanwhile, upstairs in the recently opened club section, Adrian Grenier was celebrating his manager's birthday while Paris Hilton was sitting atop the banquettes, hanging with her new guy, Doug Reinhardt.
