The Jonas Brothers surprised a very special fan of theirs in her Grapevine, Texas, home on Sunday, when Kevin, Nick, and Joe popped in to see Jayla Cooper, a 9-year-old girl battling an aggressive form of leukemia.
Resting in her father Jerrod Cooper's arms when the trio entered her house, Jayla gasped and then later received a hug from her favorite musicians, whose visit was arranged by – and shown on Tuesday's – CBS The Early Show.
The Jonases also sang an a-capella version of her favorite song, "Love Bug," and told Jayla they love her.
Last month, Jayla witnessed another dream come true when she symbolically married her 7-year-old boyfriend, Jose Griggs, who is also fighting leukemia, though a less aggressive form. The two met at the Children's Medical Hospital in Dallas.
"He's funny, and cute, and very sweet," Jayla said of Jose. "And I love him."
Their "wedding" party – where the formally dressed young couple danced to "Love Bug" – was Jayla's greatest wish, said her mother, Lisa Cooper, who also hopes one day to see her daughter dance at her real wedding.
"I believe there's a miracle out there," says Lisa Cooper.
