My wife, Jennifer, is beautiful in every way. She's a great listener and my biggest cheerleader. My son Hampton [2½] has made me richer as a person. And I'm thankful for my extended family—we're one of the rare families that isn't dysfunctional! We have our quirks but we manage to stick together. It's a great support.
2. MY COUNTRY
I've got a big military heritage in my family, so that makes me proud to be American. We live in a great country.
Music called my name from an early age. I was just eaten up with it. It was how I could tell my story and get things that were on my heart out. I feel like God created a unique path for me and gave me this incredible talent that I've been able to support my family with.
4. MY DOG MOSES
He's a bloodhound with a mild-mannered spirit. He gets my mind off of things and I wouldn't trade him for the world.
5. SWEET TEA
My blood is really brown! Sweet tea is just part of me. Most people when they're infants, their mommas fed them milk. Mine fed me sweet tea.
