Over 700 art pieces and furniture collected by the late fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and his longtime partner Pierre Bergé were auctioned Feb. 23-25 at Christie's in Paris. Among the top sellers? A Matisse painting, Les Coucous, Tapis Bleu et Rose, which sold for a staggering $46 million, and a rare Constantin Brancusi sculpture that went for a cool $37 million. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent Foundation for AIDS research.
