>• The real-life doctor and father of two has become a scene-stealing specialist in movies like Knocked Up and Role Models.

Two and a half years ago, Ken Jeong was an L.A. general practitioner with a curious hobby: playing Hollywood comedy clubs. "Some doctors did golf, I did comedy," explains Jeong, 39. "It was my outlet to relieve stress." Then he got the part of the caustic obstetrician who delivers Katherine Heigl's baby in 2007's Knocked Up. "My parents would boast that their son is not only a doctor, but also played one in the movies," says Jeong. "It's like I gave them double bragging rights." Now acting full-time, he plays a geeky gamer in Role Models, out on DVD March 10. It's a little further from real life: "I wasn't that kind of nerd. I was the kind that would break down in tears if I got a B-plus on a test."
