Taking the role of background vocalist to heavenly heights, Lisa Hannigan was Damien Rice's secret weapon on both 2003's O and 2006's 9. While her dreamy solo debut doesn't match the sheer brilliance of those discs, it proves that this Irishwoman can stand on her own as a singer and a songwriter.
