Jade Goody was frail and half-blind Wednesday as she was brought home from the hospital to spend her last days with family and friends.
The British reality TV star, 27, whose cervical cancer
has spread throughout her body, wanted to be close to "all those who are close to her," says her publicist, Max Clifford.
Wrapped in a red blanket, Goody was accompanied by her husband, Jack Tweed, 21, as they left the Royal Marsden Hospital in London. It was reported earlier this week that Goody can only see out of one eye, and she was terrified she wouldn't be able to see her sons Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4, anymore. She has been told she has a few weeks to live.
"The whole point is that she wants to spend as much time as she can with Jack and the boys," Clifford told the UK television show This Morning
. "If they can train up the local nurses, they will keep her pain free by topping up the epidural."
Goody was on the British version of Celebrity Big Brother
with Jermaine Jackson, although her racially charged remarks about another candidate got her booted from the show.
Clifford told reporters that Jermaine's brother, Michael Jackson, left her a message over the weekend: "Hi Jade, it's Michael. I'm thinking of you and I hope everything goes as well as it can. I want you to come and see me when I'm over. My brother keeps asking me about you."
