Goodbye size 20 pants, hello size 8 skinny jeans!

A year after getting lap-band surgery, Guiding Light star Caitlin VanZandt is 90 lbs. lighter and a whole lot more confident.

"I feel much sexier and much happier," says VanZandt, 23, who last February underwent a procedure to have a device known as a lap-band placed around her stomach, shrinking the organ to the size of a golf ball and thereby limiting how much she can eat.

The biggest change in her life? Her new closet busting with size 8 halter tops and dresses that show off her new physique.

"I actually buy skinny jeans. It's unbelievable. It's a joy to not have anything hanging over the top of them or squeezing in the multiple butt cheeks."

Changes in Diet

Since her surgery, the soap star also drastically altered her lifestyle. Instead of ordering a Starbucks white chocolate mocha for breakfast and three slices of pepperoni pizza for dinner, VanZandt thrives on a diet filled with yogurt, fish and her new favorite snack: almonds.

The native New Yorker also does a 30-minute kettlebell workout three times a week ("It's a burner!") on top of attending belly-dancing and tap classes to stay fit.

Though she has her sights set on losing 10 more lbs., VanZandt has no intention to "look Hollywood," she says. "I don't want to reach Hollywood standards of skinny."
