Candy Spelling's Home on the Market for $150 Million
Though it's not exactly recession-friendly, Aaron Spelling's mansion will be perfect for the right person – someone looking for the bragging rights of owning the most expensive home for sale in the United States.

How much? His widow, Candy, is putting the expansive home, called "The Spelling Manor," on the market for a whopping $150 million.

The largest home in Los Angeles County, the French chateau-style property has 56,000 square feet of space and is settled on 5 acres of land.

"This house is the equivalent of a mid-sized hotel," Spelling tells PEOPLE. "It's a lot of work."

The manse requires an army of gardeners, security personnel and housekeepers, and boasts a bowling alley, wine cellar, three gift-wrapping rooms, library, gym, screening room and humidity-controlled silver storage room, among many others. Also on-site? A tennis court, fountains, a water fall, a pool and spa, a reflecting pool and 16 car ports.

"I have wonderful memories here," Spelling sighs. "But I feel like it's a new chapter in my life – and it's just me in this big house!"
