The star – ACM's reigning male vocalist whose second child with wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley is due soon – is tied for most nominations with country legend George Strait with six each.
On Tuesday it was announced that Paisley already won for his "Waitin' on a Woman" video and for "Start a Band," his duet with Keith Urban. He's also up for top male vocalist, single record of the year and song of the year when the ACMs air live from Las Vegas on Sunday April 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
Paisley will also vie for the entertainer of the year honor against "Start a Band" partner Urban. Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney and Strait are also up for the top award, which will be decided by fan votes.
