Blakesley Grace Sutter, who weighed 6 lbs., 2 oz., and measured an impressive 19 inches at birth, arrived Friday afternoon, April 3. "Mom and baby are doing great," says a source close to the couple.
The Sutters' son, Max, was born in July 2007. A member of the family tells PEOPLE that the name Blakeley is Trista's mother Roseanne's maiden name.
As with Max – whose middle name, Alston, is also the boy's paternal grandfather Robert's middle name – the Sutters wanted to keep the tradition of using family names for their children.
After emerging from The Bachelorette as a couple, Trista, a purse designer, and Ryan, a Colorado firefighter, enjoyed fairy-tale wedding in California in 2003 that aired as a special on ABC.
Last October, the two told PEOPLE that they were in talks for a new reality show, to involve Max and the new baby.
