Country fans get ready to rock. Keith Urban will be hitting the stage for a live star-studded performance on the 2009 CMT Music Awards.
Joining Urban are Taylor Swift, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland and Def Leppard, who are among country's hottest stars scheduled to raise the roof at Nashville's Sommet Center on June 16.
As country music's only fan-voted awards show, Urban faces off against Paisley for best male video of the year while Swift and Carrie Underwood will vie for audience votes for best female video of the year.
The eighth annual CMT Music Awards broadcasts live at 8 p.m. on CMT.
