Andy Roddick is used to the glitz and glam of Hollywood – but having Elton John sing at his recent wedding to Brooklyn Decker was "very, very surreal," the tennis champ writes on his blog.

"It was great to have so many of our family and friends make the trip and share the occasion with us," writes Roddick, 26, who wed Decker in an intimate, candlelit ceremony in his backyard in Austin, Texas. "We had to set up a tent 'cause the weather was not agreeing with us, but it ended up working out, so all good."

Among the wedding guests were tennis stars Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi – and, of course, John, who sang an the couple's reception. Having the music legend on hand "was very, very surreal," writes Roddick. "It was beyond awesome of him to make time for us and needless to say it was beyond amazing."

For Roddick and his Sports Illustrated model bride, being surrounded by some many loved ones was one of the best part of the day. "It was probably the only time in our lives that we will have family, our best friends from home, and our professional worlds in the same place at the same time and it definitely all went too fast."
