"Coco is recovering beautifully," Sting's rep tells PEOPLE. "The family thanks everyone for their concern."
Though the rep had no comment on the specifics of the incident and the extent of Sumner's injury, British reports say she was dining with a friend in Los Angeles when she collapsed. According to The Daily Mail, Sumner, 18, said she was feeling ill and when she tried to stand up, fell and hit her head.
Sting, 57, real name Gordon Sumner, and wife Styler, 55, are with their daughter during her recovery, according to the rep.
