Caught on Catcam

Like many cat owners, filmmakers Deirdre and Michael Cross often wondered what their pet, Cooper, did while prowling their Seattle neighborhood. Shopping online, Deirdre found a camera that could be attached to 3-year-old Cooper's collar and fire automatically every two minutes. He came back with cat's-eye images of the world. "We were blown away," says Michael. "The colors are so brilliant," adds Deirdre. "And these angles!" Some 400 curious art lovers attended Cooper's gallery debut in February and bought over 20 prints at $275 each. Sadly, the artist himself was not in attendance. Why not? Says Deirdre: "Because he's a cat."
