What price art? How about not being able to sit down for three days?
No, it's not what you think. But after creating a scene
going through the security checkpoint at the Wichita airport and displaying his assets
for the poster for his new mockumentary Brüno
, Sacha Baron Cohen apparently decided to see if blonds really do have more fun.
He learned – the hard way – they do not.
For his role as the flamboyant Austrian fashion journalist Brüno, Cohen bleached his body hair, according to the British tabloid, the Sun
. The paper reports that the darkly hirsute Cohen, 37, suffered a severe allergic reaction to the peroxide and required medical treatment.
So far, there's been no comment from the Cohen camp. And Brüno
, the British satirist's follow-up to his 2006 Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan
, doesn't open until July 10.
