Kristin Davis Can't Wait to Hold Sarah Jessica's Twins

For the next go-round of Sex and the City, Kristin Davis is hoping that her character, Charlotte, has "more dogs – but not more kids."

Even in real life the actress, 44, is leaving the children to her co-star Sarah Jessica Parker, who is expecting twin girls via surrogate just before filming of the SATC sequel is set to start.

"We're very excited," Davis tells PEOPLE about the babies. "I [will] get to hold one, when Sarah is holding the other."

Davis, who is single, was in New York to present an award at the Modern Bride Trendsetters Awards.

"I'm at a bridal event, but I'm not that marriage minded," she said. "I've gotten married so many times on camera and all my onscreen husbands are wonderful."
