On Saturday, the on-again couple shared an intimate late lunch for two at Stanley’s in Sherman Oaks, the Los Angeles neighborhood where Pink has a home. "They looked very much in love and happy to be back together," says an observer of the pair's hour-long meal. "The way Carey treated Pink was so sweet. He was a gentleman and even opened the car door for her."
And though they were not wearing their wedding rings, Pink, in a gray, bohemian-style dress, left the restaurant with her arms wrapped around her husband. "Carey kept caressing her back," says the source. "They looked very much in love."
The pair – who married in Costa Rica in 2006 and announced their split two years later, but never formally divorced – had breakfast together on Sunday at Mel's Diner in Sherman Oaks, followed by a trip to a bookstore.
Earlier in the week the duo were spotted lunching at Real Food Daily in West Hollywood. Again, "Pink looked very happy and Carey couldn’t keep his hands off her," says a source. "Carey kept stroking her back as he walked Pink back to her car after their organic lunch. They acted very affectionate and Carey seemed very protective." The following day, May 14, they had dinner with friends at Aroma Café in Studio City and attended a T-Mobile event together.
