LeAnn Rimes's Nashville Home Is for Sale
LeAnn Rimes and her songwriter husband Dean Sheremet are saying goodbye to their home just outside Nashville.

"LeAnn and Dean's home is on the market," the singer/actress's rep confirms of the $7.45 million property, which was completed in 2008 and features six bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, plus exercise and media rooms.

The decision to sell is not related to reports that Rimes, 26, had an affair with her Lifetime TV-movie co-star Eddie Cibrian, 35, a friend of the country singer tells PEOPLE.

"LeAnn and Dean decided to put their home on the market because she's been spending more time in L.A. [where the couple also have a home] and New York," says the friend. "She's been receiving more offers in the film, TV and theater worlds, so they want to have a footprint in all three cities." Rimes is currently recording a new country album, due this fall, in Nashville.

Rimes and Sheremet, 28, are committed to their relationship, which still has its ups and downs, says Rimes's friend. "[LeAnn and Dean] are still having challenges and trying to work through them. They're working on their marriage."

On Sunday, Rimes was spotted chatting with Cibrian, 35, who's married to model Brandi Glanville, 36, at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game. Her pal says it was not a planned meeting.

"That was totally random," says the friend. "They both just happened to be at the game."
