• Katie Holmes, taking 3-year-old daughter Suri to the first night of the American Idol finale. The mother-daughter duo took their seats during Adam Lambert's second song. "Katie was holding Suri – and a pack of M&M's," an audience member says. After catching Lambert's performance, the duo headed backstage once again. • Jaime Pressly, celebrating the grand opening of new hot spot Janes House in Hollywood. The My Name Is Earl star sipped water while holding court with a group of friends on the patio. Also there: Girls Next Door's Bridget Marquardt, who stuck by her new beau, director Nicholas Carpenter.
• Kiefer Sutherland, dining solo at Manhattan's Da Silvano restaurant. The 24 star had pasta and water and "kept to himself," an eyewitness tells us.
