Gordon's French agent, Elizabeth Simpson, called the death "baffling," and added: "She was sparkling, warm-hearted, touching and generous, and we will miss her sorely "
Police in Paris have reportedly interviewed an unnamed male friend who is said to have found Gordon. According to The Times of London, local detectives have ruled out foul play.
Remembering his daughter, father Richard Gordon told the British Press Association, "We have always been immensely proud of her and her achievements. We love her so much. She was called Lucy and she has lived up to that: she has been the light of our lives, me and my wife Sue, and daughter Katie.
"She was a lovely, generous, unselfish person who gave her all for others and thought of others before herself ... She has been the most beautiful daughter. We are obviously devastated."
