"I'm really happy to learn that Kendra is pregnant," Hugh Hefner tells PEOPLE. "I know that she and Hank wanted to start a family right away. I think he's a good guy and they'll be good for one another."
The Girls Next Door star, 23, who recently revealed that she and fiancé, NFL star Hank Baskett, are expecting their first child together, wrote on her blog that the baby news "is the best wedding gift i could have ever asked for."
"[W]ow this has really been quite a year," she adds. "[F]rom my career to my engagement, and now a baby too! im the luckiest girl in the world!!!!"
