• Kanye West, getting star treatment as the host of Men.Style.com's 3rd annual Women of Fashion event at the New York Palace hotel. The rapper – whose entourage included supermodel Chanel Iman – got Stoli bottle service and indulged in truffle fries in the VIP area. But he also partied with other guests and took photos with fans. The hip-hop star told us he'd just celebrated his 32nd birthday (on June 8) a few days before the bash. "I threw a party with [Jay-Z] and some of my close friends," he said.
• Owen Wilson, savoring cupcakes at Georgetown Cupcake in Washington, D.C. The solo actor – casually dressed in a light blue T-shirt, sweatpants, and flip-flops – ordered red velvet and white-chocolate raspberry varieties and chowed down on them at the shop's only table. "He sat for a few moments and ate one after the other. He was looking out the window and looking around," an observer tells us. And before leaving, the actor paid his compliments. "He was very nice, friendly, casual, and down-to-earth," says the source.
