The brother of Mia Farrow has been found dead in his Vermont home, the second tragedy in recent months for the actress, whose daughter died in December.
Patrick Farrow, 66, a sculptor who was the older brother of the actress, was found late Monday night by police responding to an emergency call placed by an unidentified female from his home in Castleton, Vt.
"The victim's body is being sent to the office of the chief medical examiner for autopsy to determine cause and manner of death," said Vermont State Police Lt. Timothy Oliver in a statement. "The death is considered suspicious."
State Police Detective Lt. Tim Oliver tells Vermont's WPXI that the death was considered suspicious because portions of the police investigation "did not add up."
Patrick Farrow, who grew up in Hollywood and Europe, left New York City about 30 years ago for the mountains of Vermont. He was married to artist Susan Farrow, with whom he operated the Farrow Gallery. He has received national awards, including the Allied Artists of America and the National Sculpture Society, according to the website of the Farrow Gallery.
His death comes just six months after Mia Farrow's 35-year-old old daughter, Lark Previn, died
last December following a long illness.
