• Courteney Cox Arquette, cheering on hubby David Arquette as he faced off against table tennis pro Biba Golic at the ping-pong table. The actor showed considerable skill during the match at the Killerspin-hosted picnic at the Malibu Lumber Yard. And James Marsden showed off his expert forehand during his own game as his 3-year-old daughter Mary James watched.

• Selena Gomez, listening intently as pal Ken Baumann (from The Secret Life of the American Teenager) introduced speakers and poets at the Raise Hope For The Congo event at Jane's House in West Hollywood. Meanwhile, 90210's AnnaLynne McCord attended the event with her sister – and sported a short black cocktail dress for the occasion. On her way out, McCord posed for pictures with fans and blew kisses.

• Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough helped costar Lacey Schwimmer celebrate her 21st birthday with a JETT vodka-sponsored pool party at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel. Also joining the party: Desperate Housewives' Shawn Pyfrom. The group wrapped their celebration with a dance party at West Hollywood nightspot Guys & Dolls.

• The Cougar host Vivica A. Fox, dancing up a storm to Michael Jackson's "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough" during Heineken's BET Awards afterparty at Mr. Chow in L.A.

• The Mentalist's Simon Baker, delighting a young fan who had been waiting patiently outside R+D Kitchen in Santa Monica where the Aussie star was lunching with three male friends. After asking the boy's name, Baker happily signed an autograph for him.
