For Hamm – the Mad Men star and St. Louis native – the opportunity to play at Busch Stadium is a dream come true.
"Oh my God, I’ve always been a huge Cardinals fan," he told the Columbia Daily Tribune. "I remember going to the World Series in ’82, ’85 and ’87, and this is amazing. The fact that the All-Star Game is in St. Louis and that I’m playing here this week, it’s all pretty cool. I would have come for the game anyway."
Fellow TV star Fisher, who plays Pam on The Office, also hails from the area but admitted she hadn't been to the new stadium yet, telling Yahoo Sports that "to walk out as a player is pretty mind-blowing."
Other participants included St. Louis rappers Nelly and Chingy and fellow Cardinals' fans Bob Knight and Billy Bob Thornton.
The All-Star Game airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. on FOX. Pre-game ceremonies featuring the winners of PEOPLE's "All-Stars Among Us" begin at 7:00 p.m.
